The BMW R65 is a handsome cafe racer. The front fork is cute, belonging to the Yamaha R1.
Many BMW motorcycles today are often used as custom materials by many builders.
One example is the cafe racer-style BMW R65 produced by Gerard GutiƩrrez from Bandarra Motor Classic (BMC).
For the changes, Gerard started by stripping every part of the motor leaving only the frame.
Then the subframe was immediately completely overhauled to be more minimalist and continued to make new high-profile mountings.
Then the rear suspension was replaced with a YSS pretentious to ensure maximum driving comfort and a sporty appearance.
Then to compensate for the maximum rear legs, the front legs are also upgraded.
The front fork is replaced with an upside-down Yamaha R1 complete with a triangle and braking system.
Both wheels still use the default R65 but are modified slightly to suit the fork and R1 braking.
Don’t forget to make mudguards and number plate brackets, and tiny front and rear fenders to perfect the legs.

Continuing to the bodywork, the cockpit area is made minimalist by containing low-profile gull handlebars and Motogadget parts.
Then behind it, there is a tank that blends with the seat pan, which flows smoothly.
Then there is the typical cafe racer tail makes the seat look like the original single seat to the back.
Right with the bodywork, the engine sector is not left to lose its charm by making a few changes.
Such as the electrical system tidied up to the installation of K&N filters and a custom exhaust system with GP-style mufflers.
Then for the final touch, the bodies are given a silver colour with black accents in the middle and a few M Sport tricolour graphics typical of BMW.
As a result, the BMW R65 has been transformed into a charming cafe racer thanks to this special change.
